Supports the Financial Business Analytics Team in the preparation of formal and informal financial analysis.


  • Act a major contributor of consolidated firmwide reporting package delivered to Practice, Client, Industry, and Product Group Leaders, and other Firm management.
  • Participate in FP&A team initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and breadth of the team’s capabilities.
  • Facilitate the preparation of the annual operating budgets for practice groups including detail of staffing levels, billable hours, expected rates, direct expenses, and net income.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports requested by the Practice Leaders, Business Development Personnel, Regional Finance Directors, and FP&A team.
  • Develop and maintain complicated excel spreadsheets or other reporting tools as required.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports focusing on revenue metrics including but not limited to: headcount, revenue, utilization, reserves, and profitability.
  • Prepare analysis of projected lateral hires.
  • Act as major contributor during testing and rollout of new and/or upgraded financial applications.
  • Report on and analyze the Firm’s pro bono efforts.
  • Other duties as requested.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required


Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience, required
  • Prior experience working within a professional services firm or law firm setting, preferred


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required
  • Advanced Excel required
  • Advanced SQL preferred
  • Advanced Visual Basic preferred
  • Substantial experience with large-scale accounting software highly preferred
  • Experience with cube-based analytics systems highly desired

  • Must possess strong financial, business, analytical and accounting acumen


Physical Requirements: 

  • May require occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
