About the Role: As a Billing Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team within the U.S. billing function, ensuring exceptional client service and operational efficiency. Your focus will be on leadership, service, process excellence, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of billing analysts.
  • Management: Oversee team workload and develop talent.
  • Service: Ensure exemplary customer service to our Firm's partners and clients.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure quality work and improve team practices and workflows.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear communication and champion process enhancements.
  • Strategic Support: Work closely with departmental leadership and peers on projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of five years of professional experience, with legal billing leadership experience highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in legal billing and proficiency in legal billing software (Aderant preferred). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Traits: Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams; a passion for excellence and service; polished communication; sophisticated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The typical pay scale for this position is between $123,800 and $163,800, although the actual wage or salary could be lower or higher if the candidate’s education, experience, skills and internal pay alignment are different from those specified.
